Descendants of John Ames Buried in the Front Ridge Cemetery

John Ames and his wife Mary Eldredge settled in Orland Maine prior to 1845. There is no information to connect his ancestry with that of Phineas Ames, and this appears to be a separate Ames line of descent in the Bucksport, Maine area. The line of descent from John's father, also named John, is shown for completeness. Descendants of Lewis M. Ames Buried in the Front Ridge Cemetery

Lewis M. Ames, his wife, daughter, and granddaughter are buried in the Front Ridge Cemetery, and are all listed on the same gravestone Image size is 38K. Although this grave is close to the graves of ancestors of John Ames, there is currently no indication that he is descended from the John Ames line, (or the Phineas Ames line of Bucksport), and his ancestry is unknown. Here is what little is known about his descendancy:
